Took a break and did some shopping. The local machinery barn was having a sale so I took the opportunity to buy a nice little saw bench. This took about four hours to put together and about three hours to align everything. It really is amazing that gear like this is now so affordable. Less than two weeks wages (and I earn below the average here).

For my new-ish sliding drop saw, a piece of pre-cut melamine covered particle board is used to extend the width of the mobile bench.

A pair of these DIY rollers are fitted to the ends of the new top. The height of the rollers is brought up to match the table height on the saw with some custom acrylic blocks.

Built the first of two work benches. This one is 3.6 meters wide and made from 90x45 pine, MDF top and melamine covered chipboard.
